The Comprehensive Adult Student Assessment System

Comprehensive Adult Student Assessment Systems, is used to determine reading and math performance levels to place students into our programs appropriately. Based on test scores, if a student is found to need help in either area, they will receive instruction from our qualified staff to gain improvement in any skills they need help with. Once they have mastered these areas, they will progress to GED level assignments. 

 

CASAS or placement tests are only given to currently enrolled students attending Jackson County Adult Education. 

 

CASAS can also be used for admittance into various training programs. Upon initial testing, if remediation is required we offer classes to help.
