What is building and construction?
Every student in Jackson County has the opportunity to be a part of Jackson County's Building and Construction Program. The program is located in the old Marianna High School ag room. Students can take one period or up to 4 periods a day and earn industry certifications. Students remain students of their home school no matter how many periods they take in the program. Students will be exposed to introduction to basic electrical work, plumbing, framing, sheet-rocking, insulation, and concrete work. Space is limited.
Contact your guidance counselor to check for eligibility.
